  • 1. How do I apply?
    Click the Apply Now button on the top right side on the home page.
  • 2. Do you accept financial aid?
    At this time we do not.
  • 3. Can I get a CDL ?
    We have partnered with a neighboring school to give the 4 week CDL coarse.
  • 4. How long is the Program?
    Class is 7 weeks long. Class A CDL will be 4 additional weeks.
  • 5. Is housing available?
    Here are the different options to access the $86 rate for Holiday Inn Eastgate.
       1 You  can call the hotel Directly and state they are booking a room with the "Lineman University rate"
      2 You can click on this link to take you directly to our hotels booking site and will already have the group code plugged in for the rate:

        3 Or you can go to the Holiday Inn website and book a reservation (only at our hotel) for whatever dates you would like, enter this Corporate id #787052860 in the area where is asks for it, and your group rate will pop in.

  • 6. How much is the program?
    The lineman program is $11,495.
    You can add a CDL class A for an additional $4500.
    You can use our tools and climbing gear for free, if you choose to buy them, they are $4,000.
  • 7. Will I be a lineman at the end?
    This is a pre-apprenticeship lineman training school. So you won't be a lineman yet. We give you everything you need to get your foot in the door. We have partnered with companies in the industry to help in the recruitment process.
  • 8. How old do you have to be to apply?
    You will have to be 18 before the first day of class starts.
  • 9. How do I apply for financing?

  • 10. General Refund Policy
    Withdrawal from Program
    A student must submit a Change of Status Form in order to withdraw from the program. The form must be received by the Drop Date - the first Friday of the course-in order to receive a full refund of tuition paid. After that time, there will be no partial or full refunds.

    All requests for refunds must be made in writing by emailing Customerservice@linemenacademy.com

    Fees are subject to change at any time without notice. Fees may not be credited to another student.

    We reserve the right to correct any incorrect pricing / charges that may have occurred.
  • 11. Boot Requirement
    Line workers need a leather work boot with a minimum height of 8 inches. The boot needs to have a reinforced shank (steel or fiberglass) with ANSI Class 75 reinforced toe (steel or fiberglass). Line boots must have a 1” to 11⁄4” heel.
